For more than 26 years, Dr. Clara Guerrero has dedicated her career to creating educational environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Her journey has spanned the classroom, school leadership, district administration, higher education, and educational consulting, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of how meaningful change happens at every level of a school system.
As a bilingual educator and leader, Clara has spent her career championing multilingualism, educational equity, and high-quality learning experiences for students and families. She has led and supported Dual Language Immersion programs, coached administrators and instructional leaders, designed professional learning, and partnered with school communities to strengthen systems that foster student success.
Throughout her career, Clara has been recognized for her ability to build trust, cultivate strong relationships, and bring people together around a shared vision. Whether working alongside teachers, principals, district leaders, or families, she is known for listening first, honoring each community's unique strengths, and developing practical strategies that lead to lasting, sustainable growth.
Her work extends beyond school districts into higher education, where she has prepared future educators and leaders, and into statewide consulting, where she partners with schools and organizations seeking to strengthen leadership capacity, multilingual programming, and community engagement. Today, through With Heart & Leadership, Clara brings together decades of experience with a collaborative, strengths-based approach to help schools and districts build thriving multilingual learning communities.

WHY I CREATED
With Heart And Leadership
After more than two decades serving as a teacher, principal, district leader, professor, and educational consultant, I came to recognize something that has shaped my work ever since: meaningful change cannot be prescribed—it must be cultivated.

Every school and every community has its own strengths, culture, and aspirations. The most sustainable transformation happens when leaders take the time to listen, build relationships, and work alongside educators, families, and students to create solutions that reflect their unique needs.

I founded With Heart & Leadership to create space for that kind of partnership. This work allows me to support schools and districts in a way that is deeply collaborative, thoughtful, and responsive—whether strengthening Dual Language Immersion programs, developing leadership capacity, facilitating strategic planning, or guiding organizational growth. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I partner with educational communities to build on what is already working and create systems that will continue to thrive long after our work together is complete.
